Relax with the family or guests while enjoying this peaceful country setting. We welcome families with or without children, our place also works well for a cozy couples getaway. Great place for work crews to stay also. Plenty of parking area for boats or trailers. Lots of mature oak trees provide welcomed summer shade to have cookouts or enjoy sitting around the outdoor fireplace with family and friends. The space Our home was recently renovated at the beginning of 2025, and newly furnished. It is UV sanitized after every stay; all linens and towels are washed using hypoallergenic detergent for our guests with sensitive skin/allergies. We are pet friendly but ask only 1 pet under 20 pound please. See our house rules for more pet info. We also have air purifiers going 24/7. Property is conveniently located in Central TX, where a 15 minute drive can take you to either Belton or Stillhouse Lake, both well known for their fishing tounaments among other water activities; 30 minute drives can take you to the Historic cities of: Salado with its antique shops; or Belton (county seat of Bell County) known for its old town feel, historic homes, and Bell County Museum. We are minutes away from Fort Hood Army Base, Killeen, Harker Heights, and Copperas Cove cities; not to mention a 1 hour drive will get you to either Austin, Waco, or Lampasas. Property is centrally located within a 3-4 hour drive to Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio, Houston and the Gulf Coastline Galveston and Corpus Christi makes for great day trips. There is lots of nearby hunting, fishing, hiking, opportunities with many other outdoor activities nearby. Drive thru safari, zoos, and museums are also great nearby attractions.

Guests have access to our 1900 sq. ft. updated Farm House along with one acre property surrounding it. The house has 3 large bedrooms with 2 full bathrooms; 1 equipped with a deep soaker tub with handicap handles; the other with walk in shower. The kitchen is fully furnished plus has a coffee bar. Fully equipped free laundry on site. Free wifi with 2 Roku streaming TV's. Indoor & outdoor entertainment areas including small playground for our younger guests. Patio area with table, chairs, lantern, gas and charcoal grills available for cookouts, charcoal and lighter fluid provided. A fire pit with fire wood provided for you to enjoy those beautiful Texas evenings relaxing around the patio under the giant Live Oak trees with family and friends. Plenty of free parking for boats, trailers, and RV's, convenient for guests participating in the local fishing tournaments held at nearby Lakes Belton and/orStillhouse. Two covered bay areas provided to park boats under with available electric hookups to top off the batteries before heading to the lake.
Our home is perfect for work crews up to 8 adults. We have plenty off road parking available on our private drive. There are many outdoor activities to chose from: Fishing, hunting, hiking, sightseeing, and water sports are available at nearby lakes and parks. Plus we have a local skate park, a nearby playground with walking trail, sports park and dog park within walking distance. Families can avail themselves to both indoor and outdoor nearby amusement parks. We have a local theatre in Killeen, along with numerous movie establishments in the immediate area... one of the last drive-in movie theatres still in operation today is in nearby Gatesville, 45 minute drive. Lots of restaurants (local and chain) to choose from to dine at (see information guidebook available inside the house). Antique shopping, and wine tasting at nearby towns; Salado, Wimberley, and Fredericksburg are among local favorites. Newly built Dave and Buster's in Killeen, several other entertainment areas nearby in Killeen and Temple.
